Weekly updates on new features, improvements, and fixes across groundcover.
Improvements across the native pages
May 8, 2026
This week was focused on sharpening the experience across the platform. The Metric Summary and RUM pages became more actionable with deeper filtering and better context, AI Observability now surfaces health signals, and we cleaned up a long list of dashboard, drawer, and monitor rough edges across the platform.
gcQL filtering on the Metric Summary page
The Metric Summary page now supports gcQL filters directly from the search experience, allowing you to narrow down the cardinality table using the same flexible filtering language used across groundcover.
This makes it much easier to isolate noisy metrics, investigate high cardinality dimensions, and focus on the exact workloads, namespaces, or labels you care about.

Golden Signals charts on the AI Observability page
The AI Observability page now includes built in Golden Signals charts for the currently filtered data, surfacing key trends around latency, request volume, errors, and cost over time.
More visualizations and workflow improvements are already on the way.

Smart chart colors on dashboard charts
We added a new “Smart” palette for dashboard time series charts that automatically assigns colors based on the meaning of the series.
So a series named error will automatically appear in red, while success or healthy series will show up in green, without needing to define coloring rules manually.
Yes thank us, the product team, for saving you these 2 minutes of your life 🙂
