MS Teams Connected App, Monitor Testing & OpsGenie Severity Mapping

March 19, 2026

Test your notification routes before they fire in production, route alerts to Microsoft Teams, and map severity levels to OpsGenie. Plus improvements to monitors, workloads, and the workspace experience.

Connected Apps | Microsoft Teams & OpsGenie Severity Mapping

Microsoft Teams joins the Connected Apps lineup. You can now route monitor notifications directly to Teams channels alongside Slack, PagerDuty, OpsGenie, Rootly, incident.io, and webhooks.

We also added severity mapping for OpsGenie - map groundcover monitor severity levels to OpsGenie priority levels directly in the Connected App configuration. Your OpsGenie incidents now automatically reflect the right priority without manual triage or custom automation.

Monitors | Test Notification Routes with Real Results

Until now, validating that your notification routes were correctly configured meant waiting for a real alert to fire. Now you can test directly from the Monitor Wizard. groundcover shows you exactly which notification routes matched and which connected apps received the alert - no more guessing whether your routing is correct.
