Query Statistics and Health Dashboards for ClickHouse and PostgreSQL, Migration Readiness Tabs, and Profiling on the Workload Page

We shipped a lot of exciting new features and improvements in groundcover over the past two weeks. We added Database Monitoring for ClickHouse and PostgreSQL. Those integrations now collect query statistics and health metrics, with ready-made dashboards for each engine. Migrations sort every dashboard and monitor by how ready it is to move, and profiling data now appears on the Workload page. The rest of this what’s new covers sensitive data marking with RBAC for PII, an OTTL rule playground for traces, dashboard bulk actions, workloads created from OTel services, monitors, and a round of trace drawer refinements.

Non-Kubernetes Workloads, Flame Graphs in Explore, and Access Controls for Sensitive Logs

This changelog covers what shipped in groundcover in the last cycle. The Workload page was rebuilt and now covers services running outside Kubernetes, profiling data shows up in Explore as a flame graph, and admins can control who sees sensitive log attributes. Migrations, dashboards, and the OTTL rule editor also got updates that remove manual steps from each.

Agent assisted OTTL rules and Dashboard improvements

The agent can now write OTTL rules for you to help you parse, drop, or obfuscate traces. Dashboards got easier to navigate and easier to read, starting with favorites and pinning for anyone whose dashboard list has gotten out of hand. Underneath both, a new ingestion service and a standby ClickHouse cluster.
