These past 2 weeks focused on helping teams surface issues, act faster, and keep context attached from alert to resolution. Slack Connector now routes monitor notifications to the right channels and lets the groundcover agent investigate with the full thread as context, while Linear Connector turns Monitor Issues into tickets and brings Linear knowledge back into root cause analysis. We also made monitors easier to trust, with monitor health in the drawer, No Data state-change reasons and routing, and modern Monitor/Issues views with filters, facets, tables, and saved team views. Plus, Storage Management adds retention control, Treemap brings a new visualization to Explore and Dashboards, and dashboard updates add thresholds, conditional colors, Y-axis labels, decimal controls, and clearer metric formatting.

The last 2 weeks we went after the parts of an investigation where you lose time: drawers too cramped to actually read, querying that fights you, monitors that fail quietly, no clear view of where your data comes from. RUM gets a dedicated Exceptions page that starts to replace Sentry, plus a session drawer that finally resizes so you can read it. APM and a native Ingestion source are now real query targets in Explore, and monitors are first-class typed Terraform instead of a YAML blob. There's also a new Slack integration that routes monitor notifications to the right channels and lets you pull the groundcover agent into any thread or access the groundcover agent through slack, in Beta now and fully available Monday, June 22. On top of that, a long list of improvements and fixes across Dashboards, Synthetics, Logs, and Traces.

‍Agent mode has a clearer approval flow that helps you build trust that your groundcover agent won’t perform any dangerous actions. Silences have been added to monitoring for redundant alerting repression that let your on-call engineers rest easy during scheduled maintenance. Finally this week we worked on a lot of improvements to the product and bug fixes.

This week was focused on sharpening the experience across the platform. The Metric Summary and RUM pages became more actionable with deeper filtering and better context, AI Observability now surfaces health signals, and we cleaned up a long list of dashboard, drawer, and monitor rough edges across the platform.

Discover new notification routes, Kubernetes and Datadog integrations, improved gcQL JSON handling, and enhanced logs and traces.

Synthetics now have a new creation wizard, while monitors gained more control with custom repeat intervals. We also added Terraform support for metrics aggregation and improved performance and usability across dashboards, explore, and monitors.

A new dashboards migration flow, gcQL formulas in Explore and Monitors, and first-class Bedrock tracing. We also improved the core layout and navigation and fixed several reliability issues.

Dashboards now include version history and richer variable previews, while monitors and settings gained smarter defaults and export options. We also improved Explore visualizations, mobile layouts, and overall performance across logs, charts, and settings.
